When the map page first loads, the key for the map symbols should be visible. This is to improve accessibility. We have had complaints from members of the public that they do not understand the icons.
Why is there no key to the symbols on the map? My confusion is compounded by the lack of any explanation of what blue dotted roads mean . This is worse than not looking in the first place adding to stress and frustration.

Thanks for your suggestion! We completely understand how important it is for users to quickly interpret the map symbols, especially for accessibility and ease of use.
We're currently reviewing the current design and behavior of the map key to understand whether there are any technical or UX considerations behind it not being shown by default. Once we've completed that review, we’ll be in a better position to determine next steps.
